Jose Valencia

Jose Valencia is a wood carver that belongs to an

exclusive circle of talent that specializes in custom

fine art personalization of firearms by carving

ornamental scrolls and wildlife scenes in gunstocks

and presentation cases.

His studio is located in Phoenix, Arizona at the

base of South Mountain in the Laveen area.

His work is done by hand. Using a high speed drill

and dental burrs, he can get very detailed in his carvings.

Jose’s work has been displayed in Arizona, Utah,

Nevada, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

His work has also been published in SHOOT!

Magazine, Dec 2006 and The Rampant Colt –

Official Magazine of the Colt Collectors Association,

Fall 2007.

He has developed the type of persistent nature that

will one day make him one of the best there is in the

world. There is more than one client who is making

the bet that one day, owning a piece of Jose’s work

will become extremely valuable.
