" The thought finds the words."---Robert Frost
I learned to read a long time before I went to school.Learning everything and expressing it through word or picture or sculpture or music has been my theme since...forever. At first I thought I'd write, and I did--little stories, little poems. Then I was drawn to music. Late, I turned to paint and visual expression. I've had many showings of my work, but I agonize.Sharing my ideas with others is very hard, but I persevere. I have had formal trading in art. I've learned the rules so I can throw them out. jAt a twist of fate I was invited to show ten of my works at an international show in Paris, France.I did but agonized. My path has been very twisty and now I am taking another turn. I have joined the Laveen Art League. I am painting. mixing media and adding poetry. I agonize once more.
But... "Being an artist means not numbering and counting, but ripening like a tree, which doesn't force its sap, and stands confidently in the storms of spring, not afraid that afterwards summer may not come."--- Rainer Maria Rile
